My name is Ciel Phantomhive.
My parents died when I was a child.
They must have been murdered… by someone, or some kind of organizations I guess.
That was the reason why I made a deal with the demon.
I named him as Sebastian, and gave him a new position that would be convenient whenever I need him.
Sebastian the demon, as my new butler.
It was just the right time because Tanaka was too old for work.
However, he told me he had no place to go to, so I allowed him to stay at my house.
All I need is the truth.
The earthling might think I am crazy but I do not care.
Especially after my last relative, Madame Red has died… this kind of feeling just gets stronger.
What should I do if everyone I knew has died?
If you ask about Lizzie, my fiancée I would say yes she is important to me, but indeed not as heavy as the passed people I know.
Elizabeth Middleford really tried to be one of the members of our family, but I couldn’t put her into my heart.
I am unlucky, but at the same time I am also fortunate.
In fact people would think I am crazy of considering myself as a lucky person, but I am certain that not a person would know Sebastian’s real identity, otherwise they are dead already.
I said I am unlucky, because I lost my dearest parents when I was just a few years old.
However I am lucky because I am a child but it is still the truth, that I am the nobles.
Untouchables of the hierarchies.
I am a child but people unwilling to accept this could do nothing to me because I am working for the Queen and I have a person to help me at night.
I was on my way towards my Aunt’s funeral.
She died… because of me.
Sebastian said it was not my fault but it was.
She might not have to die if I was killed.
“You shouldn’t have been born!”
When I heard this, I just couldn’t move.
How should I react?
I have never thought of this would happen.
I have never thought of… she would have said something like that.
I was right.
She did not hurt me.
However people didn’t know that I actually just hope I could be wrong...
Even in that kind of dilemma.
I was not frightened because of death, but I would be hurt if what she said to me is real.
Madame Red is my Aunt, but you can also say she is my mother.
Yes, maybe this is a more appropriate word that should be used.
As I stepped my foot into the Church, noises started to spread through everywhere, from corner to corner.
“Look at him… look what he has bring! The red dress! He didn’t even know that he should be respectful to people passed away!”
I ignored what the others were saying, there was only one important thing I desired to do.
No matter how the others think, I knew this is the only thing I could do for her.
I carried the long and grand red dress and started my way to the glass made coffin.
I used this dress to cover her, cover her body which has already worn a white dress.
I took out a flower from my pocket and put it on her red hair.
“White doesn’t suit you. You look beautiful only in Red only, Madame Red.” I used my hand to comb her hair and kissed her on the cheeks as I said.
“Sebastian, I’m leaving now.” As I said, I jumped off from the coffin.
-Phantomhive house-
“So, what are you doing here Lau?” I stared at Lau.
Lau is a noble from China who owns his own company and do trades with people… apparently.
He’s a mysterious man who always keeps his eyes closed and wouldn’t show any expressions on his face.
Usually, he just smiled without heart.
“Oh… I was just wondering who was it that killed Madame Red. On the news it says she was killed by ‘Jack the Ripper’ but I think there might be a story inside?” Smiled, again.
“I don’t know what you are talking about.” I looked at his eyes, although I knew I would not be able to read anything.
“Why didn’t you kill her?” He pressed both of his hands on my desk and questioned me.
Yes, questioned me.
Like I was a suspect.
“I” Before I wanted to say something, he interrupted me.
“Ha, just a joke.” He smiled at me and let his hands goes.
“See you next time, Ciel.” He waved his hands at me as he left the door.
