New Idea

I put up some ideas earlier, but they were a bit murky and unformed. Mostly because they didn't exactly fit my criteria for what I was looking for. However, I think I've found something. I don't know how many of you have read the book Frankenstein, (formerly titled The Modern Day Prometheus), but it is quite the sad, compelling tale. I was always a little unhappy with how everything happened in the book, particularly from the side of the monster. So I want to rewrite the monster's life, to turn it from a story of vengeance into something where the Monster can grow manhood and perhaps contribute to society. Just a thought, anyway.

Great! Sounds interesting and yeah it is sad what happened to that monster. I studied the text last semester for Language, Literature and Desire and I know a bit about it but not as much knowledge that you may have. Anyways, I would like to see what the monster's side of the story is, after all - there is two sides to every story right?

Have fun writing ^_^

Hi Drew,
Finally someone is doing poor old Frankenstein some justice! It's so typical for people to judge others on face value, how sad...

All I can remember from reading the text in the last semester, all the poor monster desired was the love of another human but due to his horrendous appearance; he was rejected by his own creator and the society…

It’s such a great idea what you’re intending to do, good luck & all the best ^_^
